Effective: Dec. 9, 2002 - Physical Materials Testing of Cured 1/2 Inch Molded Rubber.

Received: Four (4) cured, 1/2 inch thick, black material sections not identified by Customer.

Content: 95% + recycled tire rubber content, with a virgin rubber binder.

COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION, ASTM D 1894-01 (Modified)

Procedure:Two specimens were prepared from each submitted sample by mounting a 2" x 2" section on a steel plate. Each specimen was pulled at 5 in/min. across a cold-rolled, high carbon steel substrate, polished smooth to the touch. The sample was loaded with a 5 lb weight. The average was reported.
